L’OREAL – UNESCO National Young Women in Science Support Scholarships 2023 Announcement Published!

The “Young Women in Science Support Scholarships National Program”, which is an extension of the international “For Women In Science” program in partnership with UNESCO and L’Oreal, has been successfully conducted in Turkey since 2003. In collaboration with the UNESCO Turkey National Commission and L’Oreal Turkey, scholarships will be awarded in 2023 to encourage the scientific studies of women scientists in our country.

Within the scope of the scholarship, four young female researchers, who are conducting research in the fields of Life and Environmental Sciences (Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Health Informatics including Bioinformatics, Neurobiology, Biomedical and Artificial Intelligence research in Biology) and Physical Sciences (Basic Sciences (excluding life sciences) and Engineering, Granular Materials, Polymers, Glasses and Ceramics, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, Specially Designed Surfaces, Photonic Crystals, Condensed Matter Physics and Statistical Physics), who have not turned 40 years old (as of January 1, 2023) and have completed their doctorate, will be supported with an annual scholarship of 150,000 Turkish Liras each, with two from each field.
